Gateway Fitness Gym is a 24/7 private gym for the active "gym-goer" who are living OR visiting Traverse City. Day, week, monthly, and pay-in-full memberships available.
Staff come in to clean and maintain the gym. While all customer service and billing related tasks are mostly handled remotely.
We include useful amenities to all members and provide additional add-on packages such as unlimited infrared sauna use, personal training, and classes!
We do have personal trainers. Find their individual contact numbers under the TRAINERS section on this site. Each trainer has their own pricing structure.
Our goal is to have a high quality, secure, private gym to use 24 hours 7 days a week.
Gateway Fitness Gym does NOT have a free guest policy. We want to provide the best atmosphere possible for our paying members. If you'd like to bring a guest, have them sign up for a membership through the website. When they complete the sign up process, they will then have their own PIN to use to check in.

Members, PLEASE, always bring clean shoes with you. Shoes worn into the gym are NOT clean. We can not stress this more. Please change into clean gym shoes either in the locker room, bathroom, or entry areas before your workout. Dirt, sand, and everything else from dirty shoes get stuck in the oils and moving components in the machines and causes extreme wear on the equipment. Please help us keep our gyms nice for everyone.
Beginning July 2023, Only children 14 years old and older are allowed to be added to a family membership. A separate waiver is required before adding anyone under 18 to your membership. We strongly encourage parents to carefully watch their children to ensure they are using the equipment properly. We take this very seriously. Action may be taken if we feel as though the child is utilizing the equipment improperly.
No children under 14 years old are allowed inside the facility at any time.
If you have begun a profile and didn't finish or was a member in the past, then you already have a profile in the Gym Master Software.
Please log into the Gym Master Member app by using the email you signed up with (Note: you may need to create a new password). Once logged in, you can purchase another membership.
Please call or text us to verify if we already have your information in the system and/or to verify if we have the correct email.
If you are having a billing error or problem, please text us your issue and we will get back to you within 48 hrs to resolve.
Members can join the gym only or they can add the sauna package (or all inclusive).
When a member has the sauna package, they will also receive a separate key that will be programmed to open the sauna room door. This key will allow full access to the sauna room to get a towel, use the saunas or to just hang out!
The towel service is included with the sauna package only.
The saunas are simply turned on by holding down the on/off button for 3+ seconds. When the sauna is on, use the up & down arrows to select your temperature (140 degrees maximum) and the time (59 min maximum)
The saunas are NOT in the restrooms or locker rooms. They are in their own separate room that consists of two additional private rooms. These two private rooms contain the sauna and a changing space allowing plenty of room to move around.
When you sign-up at Gateway Fitness, you need to download our Gym Master app. The app is required for each member. The app is used by each member to unlock the door and check into the gym EACH time they visit the gym. This tracks your attendance, let's us know who is currently in the gym, and provides much of the data needed on the back-end of the business. PLEASE check-in each time your visit the facility.
Gateway Gym has security cameras throughout the gym that record 24/7 and the footage is stored. These cameras are access by the staff and can be pulled up from anywhere the staff member is at. We also have the secure Bluetooth entry that can only be opened via member's cell phone. When a member enters the gym, notifications are sent to all staff members letting us know who should and shouldn't be in the gym.
Send a written request by texting to 231-360-2525 or emailing to info@gatewayfitnessgym.com. Please state your first and last name and why you'd like to cancel. Allow up to 72 hrs to process your requests.
It's so simple to update your billing information. You can use Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover OR you can use a bank account. Note: BSB means "Routing Number".
Simply open your Gym Master Member app and click on the Person-shaped icon "my account" then click on "update billing info" and complete the steps.
